RED FLIGHT ~ $18 2019 Le Cadeau Vineyard Pinot Noir Willamette Valley, OR 13.3% ABV $40 Produced entirely from estate fruit, the Red Label cuvee showcases the wide range of clones and soil types. It has fresh aromatics, complexity and richness. 2020 Turley Old Vine Zinfandel Napa, CA 15.2% ABV $40 Turley Cellars now makes 47 separate wines from over 50 different vineyards, some with vines that date back to the late 1800’s. Often weak and decaying, these old vine vineyards require extra care and attention in order to restore them to their former glory. After twenty-five years in the emergency room, Larry Turley can now focus his resuscitative skills on the various old vineyards that comprise the wines he loves. 2016 Pertinace Barbaresco Barbaresco, Italy 14.5% ABV $37 A very classical style Barbaresco: elegant and velvety, with ripe and spicy fruit. Strong tannins, but good structure and concentration. Very long life. 2018 SIMI Landslide Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley, CA 14.5% ABV $45 Harvesting fruit to its pinnacle expression has been SIMI’S craft since 1876. This Cabernet reflects the finest fruit from the Landslide Vineyard in Alexander Valley. Fruit forward flavors accompanied by hints of spice and toasty oak notes.
